You Can Be a Part of Saving Lives by Volunteering
Do you know that feeling you get when you do something unselfishly for someone else? Wouldn’t you like to feel that way more often while possibly saving the lives of hundreds of young people who are addicted to heroin and other opiates?
A Man in Recovery Foundation has many needs, chief among them is the help of others planning and conducting awareness and fund-raising events, staffing such events, participating in our growing number of Opiate Recovery Groups, making speeches in your community about the work that A Man in Recovery is doing, inviting others to join our movement. The list goes on and on.
But YOU are the key to helping us realize our goal of awareness, prevention, community outreach, resources and local forums. You could also help us with letting your voice be heard among state and federal lawmakers about changes in laws at the state and federal level.
And, of course, should a family lose a loved one as a result of this dreaded disease, you could help be part of a team that provides that family with emotional support, courage and other necessities during their time in need.
If you are interested in becoming an AMIRF volunteer, please Contact Us and we will get back to you. We are grateful for all the support, encouragement and time that others are giving to our growing movement to save lives. Thank you!
